Ho realizzato quella dorata semplicemente con carta di giornale, colla e spago verde:

I realized the gold one simply with paper, glue and green rope:

Step 1

fate una bella palla con carta di giornale accartocciata e un pò di colla vinilica a strati. La carta non deve essere troppo compatta, altrimenti non riuscirete più a lavorarla. Arrotolate dello spago, tirandolo in modo da sagomare la pallina a spicchi.
Make a ball with crumpled newspaper and vinyl glue in layers. Pay attention that the paper should not be too compact, otherwise it will be hard to work later. Roll up the string, pulling it to shape the ball into wedges.

... aspettate che la colla asciughi... 
... wait until the glue dries...

Step 2

eliminate lo spago provvisorio.
Remove the provisional string.

Step 3

spray!

Step 4

una volta che anche il colore è asciutto rimettete lo spago nelle scalanature preformate.

Once the color is dry, put back the string into preformed grooves.

Step 5

incollate (con la colla a caldo) il picciolo realizzato sempre con carta di giornale e ricoperto di spago verde.

Sarà che è arrivato in pieno l'autunno, a me tutto questo arancione in giro piace un sacco! Zucche e dolcetti a forma di fantasmi, scheletri e streghe...

Mi piace un pò meno il lato dark e sanguinoso, lo trovo un pò splatter... ma ovviamente ognuno ha i propri gusti!

Maybe because the autumn has finally arrived, I like this orange all around! Pumpkins and candies in the shape of ghosts, skeletons and witches ...

I like a little less the dark and bloody side, I find it a bit splatter... but of course everyone has his own tastes!

Muffin con gocce di cioccolato e banana

I Muffin sono ormai super collaudati... ne ho ormai sfornati parecchi...

Consiglio (ovviamente non mio, l'ho letto da qualche parte, non ricordo dove...): invece delle gocce confezionate già pronte, provate con del cioccolato fondente grattugiato a scaglie, stesso risultato ma potete usare il cioccolato che preferite e costa anche meno!

The Muffins are now super-tested... I baked a lot now...
Tip (obviously not mine, I read it somewhere, sorry I forgot where...): instead of packaged ready-made choc drops, try with grated dark chocolate, same result but you can use your favorite chocolate, and also it costs less!

Chocolate pumpkin

Questo invece è un esperimento... la zucca al cioccolato!

Ho preparato l'impasto per la classica torta al cioccolato... versato poi in 2 identici stampini... e infornato!

And this is an experiment... a chocolate pumpkin! 

I prepared the paste for the classic chocolate cake... then I filled 2 identical pans... and I put them in the oven!

Aggiungete la glassa / Then frost the cake

Per fortuna ho fatto tutto questo nei giorni scorsi... perchè oggi non mi sento proprio bene... 
Quello che ci vorrebbe oggi è una zuppetta calda per scaldarmi bene!

Inutile dire quanto qui Halloween sia sentito... da un paio di mesi puoi acquistare zucche ed ogni genere di gadget arancione-nero-più o meno horror anche in farmacia!

It's useless to say how much Halloween is felt here... from a couple of months you can buy pumpkins and all kinds of gadgets orange-black-horror even in pharmacy!

L'anno scorso mi sono vestita da Catrina, una donna teschio dell'immaginario  messicano. Quest'anno ancora ci sto pensando... vedremo!

Finalmente l'ho fotografato! Sono tornata nella mia casina in Italia qualche settimana fa e ho fatto scorta di materiale... vedrete!

I finally photographed it! I came back to my little house in Italy some weeks ago and I stocked up on items to post... you will see!

Era da un pò di tempo che volevo pubblicare questo vassoio... il vassoio per le colazioni (a letto) che spesso mi ha allietato il risveglio negli ultimi 2 anni...

L'ho acquistato da Semeraro, ma era come al solito troppo "sobrio" per i miei gusti... quindi...
 

1. ho incollato una carta adesiva plastificata a quadretti sul piano... così è perfettamente lavabile!

2. ho finito i bordi con passamaneria colorata nei toni del giallo e del rosa

1. I pasted a checked adhesive paper on the top... so it is washable!

Qui lo vedete apparecchiato con teiera, tè e bricco per il latte... tutto importato da Londra nel periodo di pendolarismo!

Sono troppo dipendente dal caffè per passare definitivamente al tè... non sarò mai una vera lady!
Però un'amica in visita mi ha chiesto "facciamo una vera merenda inglese, con tè e scones?"... quindi, per accontentarla, ho provato a farli!
Lo so che questo blog parla di altro... ma sono pur sempre cose fatte da me!
Per la ricetta mi sono fidata di Betulì (tra l'altro vi consiglio la lettura del suo blog!)...

Non sono mai stata una grande esperta in cucina: prima c'era la mamma cuoca speciale, seguita da una coinquilina con doti culinarie di un certo livello... poi mi sono ritrovata a vivere da sola, a fare la pendolare... e tanto per farvi un'idea in cucina ho sacrificato il forno per la lavastoviglie! Un amico una volta è arrivato a cena portandosi le pentole...

Quella che vedete qui sopra è stata la mia prima crostata... ossia... esaurimento nervoso per stendere la pasta frolla e problemi di incomprensione col forno! Ma ci sto lavorando...
