Wishing you a Gold Xmas!

Ci siamo quasi... -2 a Natale!
Per me inizia una giornata di corsissima, in cui sfrutterò buona parte dei mezzi di trasporto esistenti via terra e aria... ultimo giorno di lavoro... e poi partenza, ovvero ritorno a casa, in Italia!
Sarà una di quelle giornatine belle intense... ma di sicuro non soffrirò di solitudine, chissà quante persone sono in movimento oggi per riavvicinarsi a casa!

Ebbene sì, Natale con i tuoi... mamma, fratello, famiglia, amiche e amici! Non vedo l'oraaaaaa!!

We're almost there... -2 days to Christmas!
I have just started my day running, I'll will use much of the existing way of transport by land and air... it's my last day of work before holidays... and then I'll go back home in Italy!
It will be a quite busy day... but certainly I won't suffer from loneliness, I wonder how many people are now travelling to home!
Of course, Christmas with yours... family and friends! I cannot wait!

Christmas time: bird decoration

Un paio di domeniche fa siamo stati al car boot sale di Chiswich.
Purtroppo, complici i nostri soliti tempi luuuunghi, quando siamo arrivati la maggior parte dei venditori era già pronta ad andarsene... peccato, perchè sembrava ci fossero cose molto interessanti!!
Pazienza... il prossimo evento sarà a febbraio, e saremo super mattinieri!

A couple of Sundays ago we went to a car boot sale in Chiswich.
Unfortunately, due to our usual delay, when we arrived most of the vendors were ready to leave... what a pity, because it seemed to be very interesting stuff!
Never mind... The next sale will be in February, and we will be super-early-risers!

Nonostante questo... sono riuscita a scovare qualche occasione, come questo uccellino (non vi mostro tutto il bottino, il resto nelle prossime puntate!):

Well... Anyway I managed to find something interesting, as this bird (I won't show you the entire booty, other things in the next episodes!):

In effetti visto così non dice molto... ma era da qualche tempo che avevo in mente di trasformare un oggetto simile.
Quindi, complice il periodo natalizio... ecco il mio decoro:

La realizzazione è semplice, sono sufficienti pochi "ingredienti":

The making up is simple, you only need a few things:
 

1. un uccellino, meglio di ceramica / a bird, better if a ceramic one

2. una vernice spray lucida / a glossy spray paint

3. un bicchiere come piedistallo / a glass to use as basement

4. frange, nappine e pizzi a piacimento / fringes, trimming and laces as you like
5. colla / glue

Una chicca... ho acquistato i nastri in un negozio che è un angolo di paradiso... si chiama VV ROULEAUX, il paese dei balocchi nel suo genere!

A treat... I bought the ribbons in a shop that is a piece of paradise... VV Rouleaux, the toyland of its kind!

Ultimo "lunedì di Cate" prima di Natale... quindi oggi vi mostro l'ultimo suo lavoro in ordine temporale, il più recente...

La base è la parte superiore di una vecchia credenza... Con una rotazione di 90° e una buona dose di immaginazione è stata riadattata: ora è appunto un originalissimo mobile verticale a ripiani in puro stile We Love!

The starting point is the top of an old cupboard... It has been rotated of 90° and with a good dose of imagination has been renewed. Now it is an original standing cabinet with shelves perfectly aligned to We Love's style!

Last year... Christmas at home!

Oggi vi mostro la mia casina (in Italia) addobbata lo scorso Natale! Ne ero così orgogliosa che l'avevo fotografata, mai più pensando che avrei pubblicato queste fotografie, tanto meno in un blog!

Questa volontà di Natale parco di addobbi mi sta decisamente facendo uno strano effetto... sono in ritardissimo con tutto, regali compresi (amiche, mamy e fratello, non preoccupatevi, poi recupero!)

E comunque il ritorno si avvicina, quindi ho proprio voglia di casina...
Non che qui non stia bene, ANZI!! ma in quella c'è tutto il mio mondo, e anche tanta fatica per trasformarla in quello che è adesso!

Today I'll show you my little house (in Italy) decorated for last Christmas! I was so proud that I had photographed, never thinking that I would publish these pictures, least of all in my blog!

My determination to keep this Christmas frugal in decorations is I doing a very strange effect... I'm super late with everything, including gifts (friends, mummy and brother do not worry, I'll make up!)

And yet the return is coming closer, so I really lust for my little house...
Not that here is not fine, INDEED! but my whole world is in there, and also so much effort to transform it into what is now!

Dal momento che per questo Natale devo limitarmi al bianco + rosso, qual è l'abbinamento più classico (Coca Cola esclusa)?

A guardarli tutto avrei detto tranne che il gusto fosse di menta... dal colore avrei suggerito "panna e fragola"... 

Simply looking at them I've never thought that the tast was peppermint... The colours suggests "cream and strawberry"...
